THE WORD on The Word of Faith (a GroupBlog)

I created this blog to put my thoughts out there on the Word of Faith movement, ask questions about it, and get feedback by those who support and those who oppose of the movement. I have been in the Word of Faith Movement for almost 15 years now, and I have recently begun to question the soundess of their doctrine. I am not a heresy hunter. I do not hate the Word of Faith Movement. I don’t have any grudges against any Word of Faith pastor. I believe that I, as a believer in Jesus, must rightly divide the Word of Truth, God’s Word. I refuse to believe anything, just because someone tells me it’s true. I have to find out for myself.

I believe that God is drawing us to Himself more than ever before. I believe that more than ever, we as Christians, must be so careful what we choose to believe. We must consider the whole council of God’s Word, not pick out a few verses to fit what we want to be true. There will be those who condemn me for asking questions. I have always been curious and have always asked the question, “WHY?” A lot of people in my life, pastors especially, didn’t like me asking questions. There is nothing wrong with questioning things. It’s the only way to find the Truth.
